Affordable Computers Tasman Limited was started by
brothers Andrew and John Dyson. It opened for business on January the 1st, 2002,
out of a home garage in
Tasman, New Zealand.
Prior to starting the business
the brothers analysed the
possible market for a
computer company within the Motueka and out lying areas. It
was seen
there was a definite opportunity for a company with growth
potential in the area and for the business specified, servicing
small to medium business and the home user market.
Initial financial investment was small until the Company became
known to the wider region. Once the Company started to progress
and a client base was built up further financial investment
was made in stock, equipment, premise modification and utilities.
Growth continued to the extent that a third team member
joined the Company.
In late 2003 it was
seen that to grow further a move to Motueka township was
required. Suitable premises where found on the main street
and the new shop doors were opened on December the 27th 2003

Steven Taylor has over five years IT industry experience in
delivering technical support to medium and small/home businesses. He is
also an avid Gamer, enabling him to provide competent advise on
requirements for PC gaming.

hobbyist interests to the business world. He has been a
valuable addition to the team.

experience in the IT industry in delivering technical support
to Corporate, medium and small/home businesses.

Affordable Computers Tasman Limited believes in total
customer satisfaction.
This is achieved by guaranteeing their product and service
and acting upon that guarantee. The Company will work round
clients needs whether this is a single user or a network
system in a company.
Affordable Computers can put a specific service package together
to meet the client's requirements. To be able to offer and
fulfil these obligations, the Company endeavours to keep stock
of required hardware on site. Stock is also held for clients that have
specific hardware requirements.
This is judged by the Company to be an important investment
to better achieve a full back up service.
