Starlink Installation

Don’t use DSL and Fixed Wireless - Get Starlink TODAY!

Starlink satellite internet brings high-speed broadband to rural and hard-to-reach locations across the Tasman region. At Affordable Computers we offer a full Starlink package: supply of the Starlink hardware, professional installation, secure mounting on roof, mast or pole, weatherproof cable routing, and on-site configuration and testing. We’ll position and align the dish for best signal, neatly fix cabling through walls or into your network cabinet, and set up your router and Wi‑Fi to cover your home or business.

What Starlink Offers?

Starlink is a strong rural internet option because it delivers high-speed, low-latency broadband via a satellite constellation, reaching areas where traditional fixed-line or mobile services are limited or unavailable; it requires only a clear view of the sky, can be installed quickly, and scales as SpaceX adds more satellites and ground infrastructure—making it particularly useful for homes, farms, and small businesses that need reliable connectivity for remote work, education, cloud services, VoIP, and real-time applications.

  • High download/upload speeds suitable for streaming, video calls, cloud backups, and online work

  • Lower latency than traditional geostationary satellites, improving responsiveness for gaming, VoIP, and remote desktops

  • Wide coverage in remote and underserved areas where fibre or reliable mobile signals are not present
